ClosePaul Van Noy - July 9, 2017
Matthew 28 (Part 7)
Pastor Paul Van Noy continues teaching us God's word, verse by verse in our ongoing study of the Book of Matthew. Pastor reads from the Book of John, chapter 21, and defines three types of love appearing regularly in today's society. In Jesus' question to Peter regarding his freshly caught abundance of fish, He teaches us God's love through our Lord Jesus Christ, Agape, in John 21:15 (NKJV) - "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" Pastor Paul teaches us about three types of love most common in our society: Phileo - Love between brother and sister, Eros - Lust, or love appearing as part of physical attraction, and Agape- the Lord's love for us, and one that is entirely focused on others.
