We believe in and practice the ordinance of baptism in water by immersion, a public expression of our faith and identification in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.” (Matthew 28:19–20)
We practice baptism for believers and encourage all who profess faith in Christ to give this public testimony. We do not believe that baptism saves or is in any way meritorious. Therefore, we reject the doctrine of baptismal regeneration.
