Ukraine—Russia War Fund
“Ukraine—Russia War Fund”
Much has been said about the political backstory regarding the current Russian invasion of Ukraine. Some surmise that Putin, being a nationalist, should be supported as the result of his refusal to join in the globalist agenda. Moreover, it has been said that Ukraine is corrupt and “in bed” with many globalists. Further, they suggest that many in Ukraine are engaged in money laundering, corruption, and vice. There is truth herein!
In addition, some of these individuals suggest that the judgment of God is against Ukraine—and that He is using Russia to that end. Those embracing this position suggest that helping Ukraine is getting in God’s way. However, they make no mention of the fact that God will judge Russia too!
The unbiblical globalist agenda is no conspiracy theory. We in the west are equally suffering under this anti-biblical agenda, corruption, vice, murder, etc. and therefore must be cautious when making claims about what God is doing—or allowing.
Russia, like many other nations, is a key player in the end times, and will therefore survive the present distress until the time of their judgment—as spelled out in the Scriptures. Therefore, regardless of one’s opinion or political position, believers are faced with decisions regarding how to respond.
That said, our objective is primarily a defense of and support for people—not a nation and/or its leaders. Therefore, our present support is, in particular, to and for the suffering Church in both Ukraine and Russia. We have connection to both.
Our “Ukraine—Russia War Fund” will be used to support the hurting, the displaced, the refugee, the churches, and pastors who are engaged in providing relief to victims of this conflict—children and adult alike. In this we are thankful to serve!
At present we are working with a specific church in Romania and through their services providing much needed supply to the hurting. Other church groups are in view—and may likewise be employed in service.
I want to encourage you to refrain from engagement in the political drama behind the scenes and that you guard yourself from speculation on God’s present purposes. Moreover, misinformation abounds; vague communication via the many media sources can be disturbing/misleading, and even the better conservative and biblically-focused advisors can misread and be mistaken. Therefore, we simply desire to serve the church and their neighbors, as best fitting, by providing funds and manpower in order to relieve suffering.
Thank you for helping.
Sincerely,
Pastor Paul D. Van Noy, Candlelight.
