Passion of the Christ screening

Candlelight’s Young Adults and Next-Gen groups will host a Good Friday screening of The Passion of the Christ.
This is not a typical movie night with fun in mind. It is an evening set aside to reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made for us 2,000 years ago. We will watch the film together and share communion as we remember the cross.
This film is widely considered one of the most historically accurate and graphic portrayals of crucifixion ever made and is rated R for graphic violence. Children 12 and older may attend with their parents, but we strongly encourage parents to review the Plugged In Online content guide beforehand to refresh their memory of the film’s intensity, as it may not be appropriate for all young teens.
