Saturday, May 23, 2026 - 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM
Start your weekend grounded in God’s Word and sharpened through fellowship with other men. The Men’s Morning Bible Study is designed to help men grow spiritually, think biblically, and live out their faith with conviction.
This early-morning gathering offers meaningful teaching, honest discussion, and the encouragement that comes from walking alongside other men who desire to lead well—in their homes, workplaces, and church. Whether you’ve been at Candlelight for years or are just getting plugged in, this is a place to grow, be challenged, and stay anchored in truth. American Legion Honor Guard
Sunday, May 24, 2026
The American Legion Honor Guard, Post 143 in Post Falls, is looking for new team members to help provide Military Funeral Honors for veterans.
This dedicated team serves as the only fully functional Honor Guard in Kootenai County, providing the flag ceremony, rifle salute, and Taps at veterans’ funeral and memorial services. They also post colors at community events, lead parades, and serve far beyond Kootenai County when other Honor Guard teams are no longer able to respond.
Right now, the team has only 11 members and is in urgent need of more volunteers to continue this important mission.
You do not have to be a veteran to serve. Anyone who is part of a Veterans Service Organization may be eligible, including Sons of the American Legion, DAR, Ladies' Auxiliary, and other related groups.
Stop by the lobby table on May 24 to learn more about the Honor Guard’s mission, ask questions, and find out how you can help ensure veterans receive the honors they have earned. If you are unable to visit the table but would still like more information, email Kenneth Johnson at Kwjsr.1963@yahoo.com.
