Man Camp (Men's Retreat)

Friday, June 5, 2026 to Sunday, June 7, 2026

Head to the mountains this June for Man Camp—June 5–7.

This year, we’re heading to Riverview Bible Camp—a beautiful lodge located on 74 acres of forest, riverfront, and rugged space in Cusick, Washington.

Step out of the routine and get serious about your walk with the Lord.

Join the men of Candlelight for a weekend of solid, biblical teaching from our pastoral team, time with the brothers, and the kind of conversations that sharpen your faith. This is a chance to get to know your brothers in Christ, build real friendships, and grow stronger together.

There’s also time to enjoy the setting—fishing (license required), exploring the river, sitting around the campfire, and unwinding between sessions.

Come on your own or bring a friend—but don’t miss it.

The Details:

  • 2 Nights Lodging (BYO Bedding)

  • 5 meals (Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast)

  • Cost is $155 per person

  • $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot

  • Questions? Email Joe@candlelight.org

  • Scholarships are available as donations come in!

  • Please consider donating to the scholarship fund if you are able.

Newcomers Lunch

Sunday, June 14, 2026 - 1:30 PM

Are you new to Candlelight and interested in learning more about membership? We invite you to join us for our Newcomers Lunch on Sunday, June 14, following the 4th Service. This relaxed gathering is a great opportunity to meet our pastors and staff, ask questions, and connect with others who are new to Candlelight.

After lunch, you’ll have the option to take the next step toward membership by signing up for our 2-Part Membership Class. In this class, we’ll walk through what we believe, how our church is structured, and what membership at Candlelight looks like—with the opportunity to join as a member at the conclusion of the class.

Questions? Email KyleM@Candlelight.org

Attending the Newcomers Lunch is not required before enrolling in the Membership Class, but it’s strongly encouraged for those new to Candlelight who haven’t yet had the opportunity to connect with our leadership.

Volunteer with VBS

Tuesday, June 23, 2026 to Friday, June 26, 2026

VBS is almost here, and we’re getting ready for an unforgettable week!

This year, kids will journey to ancient Jerusalem—walking in the footsteps of Jesus and experiencing the world of the Bible. VBS begins June 23, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

We’ll be setting up the week prior, June 15–20, and preparation is a huge part of the ministry! From building and decorating to organizing and preparing materials, this is where it all starts. We also need volunteers during VBS week to help bring everything together. Some of the most meaningful moments happen as we serve side by side—building relationships, sharing laughter, and working together toward a common purpose.

During VBS week, we need group guides, helpers, people to serve on snack team, crafts, and general floaters. The number of children we can welcome into our VBS directly correlates to the number of guides and helpers we have--the more guides, the more children we can introduce to Jesus!

VBS is more than just a fun week. It’s an opportunity to point kids and families to Jesus, invest in the next generation, and share the Gospel in a way that lasts.

This is a week kids remember for years to come—and you can be part of what God does through it.

Vacation Bible School

Tuesday, June 23, 2026 to Saturday, June 27, 2026

VBS is almost here! June 23–26, kids will step into ancient Jerusalem and follow the footsteps of Jesus through Bible lessons, worship, games, crafts, snacks, and hands-on activities designed to help them see the truth of God’s Word come to life.

This year’s VBS will take kids on an unforgettable journey as they learn about the life, love, miracles, and message of Jesus. It’s a fun, high-energy week, but more than that, it is an opportunity to point children and families to the Gospel in a way they will remember.

We will close out the week with a special family pancake breakfast at Skate Plaza on Saturday, June 27, where families can gather together and celebrate all that the kids learned during VBS.

Widow's Mite Monthly Lunch

Friday, June 26, 2026 - 12:00 PM

Widow’s Mite is adding a new opportunity for connection and fellowship. In addition to our weekly gathering at Candlelight, we will now meet for a monthly lunch at Elmer's Restaurant.

Join us from 12:00 PM–2:00 PM on the last Friday of each month, beginning February 27.

These lunches provide a relaxed setting to continue building friendships, share conversation, encourage one another, and enjoy time together outside the church campus. If you are walking through the loss of your husband, we would love for you to join us. No formal program—just meaningful connection, prayer, and fellowship around the table.
