Family Ministries

Dr. Jason Murray

Assisting Pastor

Welcome! At Candlelight Christian Fellowship, we believe family is at the heart of God’s design. The home was the first institution created by God (Genesis 2:20–25; Ephesians 5:15–6:4), and it’s our calling as a church to come alongside families—especially in these challenging times (1 John 2:18) when the family faces constant pressures. Supporting this mission is Jason Murray, our assisting pastor, who brings decades of pastoral experience and a deep commitment to equipping families with biblical guidance. Pastor Jason oversees a variety of programs designed to serve families at every stage of life, including ministries for children, youth, and young adults just navigating independence, all firmly rooted in God’s Word.

Pastoral Counseling

In addition to Family Ministry, Pastor Jason also leads Candlelight’s pastoral counseling ministry, bringing his extensive experience in biblical counseling to this vital area of care. Our counseling offerings are designed to provide practical, faith-centered support for individuals and families through sessions tailored to specific needs, such as individual, marital, family, and premarital counseling. Typically, sessions include three to four one-hour appointments. To inquire or schedule an appointment, please email our Communications Director, Sarah Bailey, at sarah@candlelight.org.
