Home Groups

The purpose of Home Groups at Candlelight is, simply, to BE the Church. We gather in homes on a weekly basis to share our lives with one another. We pray for one another, come alongside one another through the mountain tops and deepest valleys of life. We challenge one another to live out God’s Word, and to share Christ’s love with everyone we meet. This is where we ARE the Church!

Frequency: Weekly

Time: 6:15 pm to 8 pm

Location: Coeur d’Alene

No Childcare

So many wonderful things to share about our Home Bible Study! We are a fellowship of mostly married couples, but do not discourage singles. We meet on Monday evenings from 6:15 pm to 8:00, though it’s common that because we’re having such great conversations, fellowship and laughs around the snack table, we stay a little longer. We meet at Nate & Sandi Marler’s house in CDA. We are blessed to have Tom Leger as our teacher. We study books of the Bible, approximately one chapter per week, and are currently studying Ephesians. The expectation is to read and study the chapter before we meet and be prepared to share insights that you have found. We have open dialogue, ask questions, listen, and encourage each other. We share our personal joys and struggles, pray for each other, and love one another!

Widows’ Mite Ministry

Isaiah 40:1: “Comfort ye, comfort My people…”

Gatherings

Widow’s Mite is a weekly gathering at Candlelight Christian Fellowship for women who have lost their husbands. When a husband goes home to be with the Lord, the transition into a new season can feel overwhelming. Our heart is to give you space to share openly, pray together, build friendships, and find strength in the Lord and in one another. Widow’s Mite is not a formal Bible study, though we may share a short devotional from time to time. Our focus is on meaningful conversation, encouragement, prayer, and connection.

When We Meet:

Thursdays • 1:00–3:00 PM

Room 201 (Upstairs)
