The Mission of Candlelight Youth Group is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and strength and encourage others to do likewise. We know that a personal relationship with the Lord is just that, personal. Our goal is to walk with students on their journey from childhood to adulthood and inspire youth to not only trust Jesus but love Him with all they have. We do this through:

Jeff’s Bio: Jeff Gambrino has been a member of Candlelight since 2020. He, his wife Amanda, and his four children have lived in Idaho for the last 8 years. He holds a B.A. in Music Education and a M.Ed. in Secondary Education. Jeff came to know Christ at a young age and the Lord has been faithful to mature him throughout his life. In his college years, he heard The Lord calling him to minister to young people. With a passion for music and this new calling from God, he chose a career in music education. For the past six years, Jeff has ministered to our community as a middle school and high school band and choir teacher in North Idaho. Now on staff at Candlelight, he serves with his teaching experience, his musical gifts, and his love for God’s children.

Middle School Sunday School
Middle school students are invited to join us each Sunday as we study God's word and learn how to apply Biblical truth to everyday life. Led by Noah Brasseur, this class encourages students to grow in their faith, ask questions, and build friendships with other students.

Middle School Youth Group (6th–8th Grade)
Wednesday nights are all about fellowship, conversation, and building friendships! Students kick off the evening with a meal together at 6 PM before breaking into Bible study and small groups. Led by Noah Brasseur, Middle School Youth Group provides a place for students to ask questions, encourage one another, and work through the challenges of the middle school years with biblical guidance.

Meets in the Upstairs Chapel
High School Youth Group (9th–12th Grade)
High school brings new challenges, big decisions, and plenty of questions. Wednesdsay nights give students a place to come together, build Godly friendships, and find biblical guidance as they navigate these years. Each evening begins with a shared meal at 6 PM, followed by Bible study and small group discussions that encourage students to stand strong in their faith and live it out in every day life.

AWANA gives children and students the opportunity to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word, memorize Scripture, build friendships, and learn how biblical truth applies to everyday life.
We offer AWANA from preschool through high school
Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T meet Thursdays at 6 PM.
Trek and Journey meet Sundays at 6 PM.
We are also looking for volunteers for the upcoming season! AWANA is made possible by adults who are willing to invest in our kids—and the more volunteers we have, the more children we are able to welcome into the program.

Your safety matters! Join us on November 14 from 1 PM- 5 PM for a FREE Community Safety Class featuring the NRA's Refuse to Be a Victim® program, taught by certified instructor Kristy Scott.
This practical, easy-to-understand course will help you recognize potential threats, avoid dangerous situations, and make safer choices for yourself and your loved ones.
Topics include:
Personal safety at home, in public, and while traveling
Situational awareness and recognizing potential threats
Home and vehicle security
Avoiding and preventing dangerous situations
Simple, effective strategies to reduce everyday risks
Kristy Scott brings 10 years of experience as an NRA Certified Instructor, along with extensive training in personal safety, firearms, and situational awareness.

Changing Girls’ Lives and Leading Them Towards a More Christ-Centered Life
American Heritage Girls (AHG) was founded by a group of parents wanting a faith-based, scout-type character development program for their daughters in 1995. The AHG Program is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. AHG girls across the nation and the globe participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement.

Trail Life
Trail Life is a Christ-centered, high adventure ministry for boys that endeavors to “be the premier national character development organization for young men which produces godly and responsible husbands, fathers and citizens.” This program, for K-12th grade, centers on outdoor experiences that build skills and allow the youth to grow on a personal level and as a role model for his peers. Living the Trail Life is a journey established on timeless values derived from the Bible.
