Jeff Gambrino
Youth Pastor
The Mission of Candlelight Youth Group is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and strength and encourage others to do likewise. We know that a personal relationship with the Lord is just that, personal. Our goal is to walk with students on their journey from childhood to adulthood and inspire youth to not only trust Jesus but love Him with all they have. We do this through:
Verse by verse bible teaching
Studies in apologetics
Sincere worship
Small groups
Christian mentoring
Fellowship
Jeff’s Bio: Jeff Gambrino has been a member of Candlelight since 2020. He, his wife Amanda, and his four children have lived in Idaho for the last 8 years. He holds a B.A. in Music Education and a M.Ed. in Secondary Education. Jeff came to know Christ at a young age and the Lord has been faithful to mature him throughout his life. In his college years, he heard The Lord calling him to minister to young people. With a passion for music and this new calling from God, he chose a career in music education. For the past six years, Jeff has ministered to our community as a middle school and high school band and choir teacher in North Idaho. Now on staff at Candlelight, he serves with his teaching experience, his musical gifts, and his love for God’s children.

AWANA 2026/2027
Thursday, September 3, 2026
Our 2026–2027 AWANA program starts soon, and we are excited to welcome the kids back!
AWANA gives children and students the opportunity to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word, memorize Scripture, build friendships, and learn how biblical truth applies to everyday life.
We offer AWANA from preschool through high school
Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T meet Thursdays at 6 PM.
Trek and Journey meet Sundays at 6 PM.
We are also looking for volunteers for the upcoming season! AWANA is made possible by adults who are willing to invest in our kids—and the more volunteers we have, the more children we are able to welcome into the program.

AWANA Clubs
Awana is designed to provide physical, social, mental, and spiritual activities for children. It’s a great way to develop new friends, and learn how the Bible relates to today’s needs. The goal is to introduce boys and girls to Jesus Christ, and reinforce the life principles found in the Bible. Programs begin at age 3 all the way up to high school. Awana trains adults & high school teens as volunteers to work in all the programs.
