Believing in Six 24-Hour Days Isn’t Important - Debunked!
Within Christendom, many disagree with a literal interpretation of Genesis 1:1-2:3, as it would mean God created the world in six 24-hour days and that the earth is actually young. Many even say this is a non-essential issue, so it shouldn’t divide the Body of Christ. In this talk, Frank will challenge and encourage us to understand that our interpretation of Creation significantly impacts the rest of our theology.
Frank L. Figueroa Jr is a speaker for Reasons for Hope, Inc. www.rforh.com/. Reasons for Hope takes a three-pronged approach to globally communicate its message of the hope found only in Jesus Christ and its mission of equipping, empowering, and encouraging believers in their faith.
Sunday Services: 7:30 AM · 9 AM · 10:30 AM · 12 PM
Sunday, May 18, 2025
Our Sunday Services are centered on worshipping God, studying His Word, and growing together as a church family.
Each service begins with musical worship featuring a blend of contemporary worship music and traditional hymns. Following worship, we have a dedicated time called Prayer for Our Community, where we pray for a local church, a Candlelight missionary, a Candlelight ministry, and a public servant before opening God’s Word together.
Pastor Paul serves as our primary teacher, and we are currently walking verse-by-verse through an expository study of the book of Galatians. Our other pastors also periodically rotate in to teach, and we occasionally welcome guest speakers as well.
Whether you’ve attended church for years or are just beginning to explore the Christian faith, our Sunday services are designed to help you grow in your understanding of Scripture and deepen your relationship with Christ.
Sunday morning ministries for children and youth include:
- Children’s Ministry is offered during the 9 AM, 10:30 AM, and 12 PM services for infants through 5th grade
- Middle School Sunday School meets at 10:30 AM in Room 201
- High school students are encouraged to attend service with their families and be part of the larger Body of Christ at Candlelight

We will be zeroing in on the fundamentals that propel spiritual maturity. Think of it as a seminary for laymen, equipping you to authentically live out your faith.
