Families Ignite Day at the Park

Saturday, May 16, 2026 - 11:00 AM

Families Ignite is hosting a Day at the Park on Saturday, May 16, starting at 11 AM.

Join us at The Landings Park in Coeur d’Alene for a fun, casual day with your Candlelight family. This is a drop-in event, so come when you can and leave when you’re ready!

The park has a playground, basketball and tennis courts, and plenty of green space for tag, flag football, yard games, and more. Bring your favorite outdoor toys—bubbles, frisbees, balls, lawn games, or anything else your family enjoys.

Pack a picnic, bring your drinks, and come enjoy a day outside together!

Volunteer with VBS

Tuesday, June 23, 2026 to Friday, June 26, 2026

VBS is almost here, and we’re getting ready for an unforgettable week!

This year, kids will journey to ancient Jerusalem—walking in the footsteps of Jesus and experiencing the world of the Bible. VBS begins June 23, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

We’ll be setting up the week prior, June 15–20, and preparation is a huge part of the ministry! From building and decorating to organizing and preparing materials, this is where it all starts. We also need volunteers during VBS week to help bring everything together. Some of the most meaningful moments happen as we serve side by side—building relationships, sharing laughter, and working together toward a common purpose.

During VBS week, we need group guides, helpers, people to serve on snack team, crafts, and general floaters. The number of children we can welcome into our VBS directly correlates to the number of guides and helpers we have--the more guides, the more children we can introduce to Jesus!

VBS is more than just a fun week. It’s an opportunity to point kids and families to Jesus, invest in the next generation, and share the Gospel in a way that lasts.

This is a week kids remember for years to come—and you can be part of what God does through it.
