All Church Family Picnic
Sunday, July 12, 2026
Join us on Sunday, July 12, for our annual All Church Family Picnic! This is our largest all-church gathering of the year and a wonderful opportunity to spend time with your Candlelight family while enjoying a summer afternoon together.
This year, we will gather at the new Faith Walk Community Fitness Park from 11 AM- 4 PM (food will be served from approx. 11:30 AM- 3 PM). There will be plenty to enjoy for all ages, including the castle playground, fitness equipment, outdoor activities, a game zone, flag football, and a bounce house for kids ages 5 and under.
Candlelight will provide hamburgers and hot dogs. Please bring picnic blankets or chairs, drinks for your family, and a side dish to share. Don’t forget sunscreen, shade umbrellas, or a pop-up tent so your family can enjoy the afternoon comfortably.

Family Camp Out
Thursday, July 23, 2026 to Sunday, July 26, 2026
Candlelight Family Camp Out is back! Join us July 23–26 at Thimbleberry Group Campground in beautiful Farragut State Park for a relaxed weekend with your Candlelight family.
We will have a few optional activities throughout the weekend, including fireside worship, s’mores, and baptisms, but the schedule will stay light so families can enjoy plenty of time to rest, visit, swim, hike, nap, and enjoy the outdoors.
Please note: Thimbleberry Group Campground is designed for tent camping. A limited number of RVs may park in the group camp parking lot for dry camping only. There are no RV hookups available.
Location: Thimbleberry North, East, and South Campgrounds at Farragut State Park. These group camp areas adjoin one another.
Dates: Thursday, July 23–Sunday, July 26. Campers are welcome to arrive on Friday or Saturday if they prefer a shorter trip.
Check-In: Family Camp opens at 3 PM on Thursday, July 23. Please do not arrive early.
Check-Out: Check-out is at 11 AM on Sunday. All campers must be fully packed and off-site by 11:30 AM. No exceptions.
Accommodations: Tent camping only in shared group camp areas. There are no individual campsites. The campground includes shared fire pits, and all tent areas are shaded.
Amenities: Flush toilets, running water, and community fire pits are available. There are no showers on-site. The closest showers are at Beaver Bay, approximately 4 miles away.
Cooking Note: Fire pit availability depends on local burn restrictions. Please bring a backup cooking option in case a burn ban is in effect.
Parking: Farragut State Park requires a $7 daily entrance fee unless you have an Idaho Parks Passport. Click HERE for more information about purchasing an Idaho Parks Passport.
